Law of Attraction
Like EFT, Law of Attraction has been around thousands of years. We are just now being reintroduced to
it; fortunately!
The process of the Law of Attraction, in the most basic terms, has three parts. These include:
- Deciding what you want
- Putting feeling to what you want
- Allowing it to come to you
Law of Attraction: LOA is a vibration or a feeling. The law is simple. It basically says that whatever we
put out (such as a vibration) we get back. The concept relates to Energy for it is energy that we send to
the Universe (or whatever entity you consider the source) in the form of vibrations.
That this means for us is that if we are vibrating abundance, the Universe will likely bring to us more of
what vibrates abundance. If we are vibrating, say, lack or frustration, the Universe will send more lack or
frustration.
A thought perpetuates a feeling. If we say we want to lose ten pounds but our thought is that we really
don't, the thought will create the vibration which will be sent to the Universe. We most likely won't see
any shift in our weight. If we say we want to lose ten pounds and we believe it in every part of our body
and we go even a step further and feel in ourselves how it would be without those ten pounds, we are
sending out a vibration that we really want this.
The Universe only sends us what we vibrate. There is generally only two vibrations, positive and
negative. The Universe does not discriminate -- it sends what we ask for. Therefore, it is our choice what
we send, positive or negative vibrations. And since we can choose it, we have the power, in essence, to
create any life we choose to!
Deliberate Intention or Creating refers to our choosing to vibrate what we want. If we are creating
what we want, how do we know if we are actually getting what we want? -- By looking at what we have.
Did we ask for what we have now or is it the opposite or something not even close? If we got what we
wanted, we put out the right vibration! If we didn't get what we wanted, we need to notice what we have
and check it with our vibration. Are we still in a state of need (or lack)? -- of frustration? -- of anger? -- of
desperation? If so, these are what we are drawing to ourselves.
The part of Allowing, or letting to in order to receive, is often the most challenging part for people.
Many things are at work here: trying to control the outcome, impatience, not feeling they deserve, and
doubt are just a few.
One great way to look at allowing, which I've heard told by several sources, relates to ordering food in a
restaurant. We look at the menu and decide we want a steak. We put the order in for the steak. Then, we
wait for the order to arrive. The process is technically just this simple. But if we get impatient and leave
we won't get our steak. If we say, ordered a salad but really wanted a steak, we probably won't feel very
content with the salad. If we worry we can't afford the steak, we may leave without ever ordering. So you
see, there are many variations.
We have a lot more to add to this page including how we can use EFT with LOA so please continue to
